What ages is the Basic Skillz program for?+
Basic Skillz is built for early elementary-age students — the stage where kids are ready for real martial arts technique and their first taste of personal discipline.
My child has never done martial arts. Will they keep up?+
Absolutely. Almost every Basic Skillz student starts as a complete beginner, and classes are grouped so new students learn alongside peers at the same stage.
Do you offer a free intro class?+
Yes. Every new family gets a free private intro at our Atco, NJ studio so we can match your child to the right level and instructor.
How is Basic Skillz different from Core Skillz?+
Basic Skillz builds the foundation — stances, technique, and self-control — for early elementary students. Core Skillz picks up from there for elementary-age students with sparring, board breaking, and leadership drills.
